Back in late 1998, Ruth and Gary Namie, the American pioneers of the movement, wrote their first book. Then, a beautiful cover was added. The artwork was sketched by Vermont artist Mark Hughes who drew the types of bullies used ever since. On Labor Day 1998 USA Today, featured the early work of the Namies and helped launch the national workplace bullying movement. Patsons Press, the Silicon Valley company who printed the Namies' self-published book, combined Hughes' outline sketches with the USA Today background to create a the beautiful cover for the book: BullyProof Yourself At Work: Personal Strategies to Stop the Hurt from Harassment.
Ruth and Gary sold on Amazon, personally bubble-wrapped and shipped over 5,000 books before expanding the chapters and turning it over to Sourcebooks, the publisher who retitled the book as The Bully At Work.
Now is your chance to support WBI in a unique way. Only 40 people can purchase a copy of the original book, a collectors edition. We will inscribe a personal message to you in your copy of the out-of-print edition of BullyProof Yourself. $25.
